Easter Bunny Hop Card

A fun Easter Bunny Hop Card for friends at the hospital where I volunteer as office clerk.  I'm also saying my farewell when I give them the card.  My hubby and I are hopping to another town later this month.  I will miss them, though I'm also looking forward to this Spring's new beginnings!

Lawn Fawn Penguin Birthday Card

This is a last minute Penguin Birthday Card that I've made especially for Lawn Fawn's First Challenge on their new Lawn Fawnatics blog.  As I was looking through challenge blogs on this rainy Sunday morning, I came across the post with only 2 hours to make a card.  Lawn Fawn is special to me because it's my first exposure to cardmaking a year ago.  So, I just have to be a part of it!  I used my very first stamp set which is Lawn Fawn's Toboggan Together.

Peony Thanks Card

I recently made this lush Peony Thanks Card for a nice friend who's in town to attend a Comic Con event.  Peony Bouquet stamp and inks by Altenew adhered on DCWV Far East cardstock.  Details embellished with Sakura Gelly Roll Pens and Glossy Accent for shine and dimension.  A simple Thanks Sentiment from the stamp set is embossed in gold.

PicsArt Birthday Card

While I was playing with the cute Fuzzball, I ended up taking pictures of him.  Then, I found myself downloading PicsArt app which was quite easy to use.  Its filters and other tools allowed me to create a 'digital art' version of the original photo. From this, I crafted a birthday card for spring season.

Viking Heart Card

Fell in-love with Avery Elle Viking stamp and die-cut when I saw it online a few weeks ago.  When I first used the stamp, the ink beaded up and made spotty impressions as a result. So, I gently washed it with dish detergent and pat-dry with paper towel. I then carefully cut out the sentiment (inside the viking's beard) using an X-Acto blade. This allowed me to use a sentiment from Altenew Floral Frame.

Butterfly Love

Created Valentine's day card 'Butterfly Love' with lots of hearts and some sparkle! As you can tell by now, I use different brands from my stash and is fond of shiny/sparkly touches.  For this one, the center piece is cut and embossed from two consecutive sizes of Spellbinders dies.  Green and brown inks are dabbed around the edges for depth.  Penny Black heart flowers are stamped in different shades of pink/reds and Wink of Stella glitter adds shine to some blooms.
